Data and methodology
Realty Center connects city property guides. Counts describe current offers from connected sources, not the entire property market.
Sale and rental offers, property categories, currencies and rental periods are analysed separately. Statistics use asking prices rather than completed transaction prices. London defaults to GBP. Monthly, weekly and nightly rents are never mixed or converted.
Price colours require at least 10 offers with both a price and floor area in the selected area. The median is the middle value; sample sizes are shown. Listings without a precise location remain in the city totals and are not assigned a guessed borough or map point.
London covers 32 boroughs and the City of London. Borough boundaries: Greater London Authority / Ordnance Survey. Ordnance Survey Open Data — Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. The map uses simplified boundaries for display and the full boundaries for location matching.
City guides are expanded as usable sources and sufficiently precise locations become available. Geographical city records are based on GeoNames, CC BY 4.0.
